Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Aegium platform, including the website at dashboard.aegiumlabs.com and all related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Aegium Labs ("we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements. Access to the Service may be restricted in certain jurisdictions where cryptocurrency trading or related activities are prohibited.

2. Account Registration

To access the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. New accounts require email verification and admin approval before access is granted.

You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Service Description

Aegium is a market-intelligence and decision-support platform for cryptocurrency markets. It presents a cross-sectional view of public market data and a market-neutral research book that is paper-traded in the open. The Service provides:

  • Cross-sectional flow analytics that rank coins relative to one another by taker flow, funding, and order-book pressure
  • A market-neutral research book, paper-traded and tracked from inception and shown with its real drawdowns
  • Market-state, rotation, and liquidation context across multiple timeframes
  • Portfolio tracking and performance analytics

The analytics and the research book are informational and observational only. They are general market information — not a personal recommendation, investment advice, or a solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any asset — and the Service does not take into account your individual circumstances, objectives, or risk tolerance. The book is paper-traded and does not place orders on your behalf. Any live-account or automated execution capabilities referenced elsewhere are offered only to eligible institutional users where available, and are not part of the standard retail Service.

4. Not Financial Advice

The Service is for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing provided by Aegium constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, a personal recommendation, or a solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any asset, nor any other form of professional advice. Any rankings, scores, or analytics are general market information only and are not tailored to you. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions and any resulting gains or losses.

Past performance of any signals, strategies, or analytics displayed on the platform does not guarantee future results. Trading cryptocurrency futures involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor.

5. Subscription and Payments

The Service is offered in multiple tiers (Free, Pro, Investor). Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service beyond the provided interface
  • Share your account credentials with third parties
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit any data or content from the Service
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

7. Intellectual Property

All content, software, algorithms, designs, and branding associated with the Service are the intellectual property of Aegium. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial trading activities.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

We act as the data controller for personal data processed in connection with the Service. Where we engage third-party processors (e.g., Stripe, Resend, PostHog), we have appropriate Data Processing Agreements in place to ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data protection laws.

As a user, you have the rights set out in the Privacy Policy and under GDPR, including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to processing, and data portability. To exercise these rights, please contact us as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Exchange Connections

Where the Service supports connecting an exchange account — for example, for portfolio tracking, or, for eligible institutional users, a live-account execution layer — you do so at your own risk. We request API keys with the minimum permissions required and never request withdrawal access. We are not responsible for any losses resulting from exchange API issues, market conditions, connectivity problems, or bugs in any execution layer.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aegium shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or trading losses, whether arising from your use of the Service, reliance on any information provided, or automated trade execution.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any signals or analytics will be accurate or profitable.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Germany.
